Andrew Foster, Realtor

Andy Foster and his wife, Pat, have made the area their home since 1999 and presently live in the Jackson Grove community. While living here he has been involved in many activities as part of the Equine community, and with his wife Pat shares her love of Dressage Horses and their training. The surroundings of this area continue to inspire Andy and make him aware of how important the land in this Carolina Area is because of its natural beauty and  the availability for homes , farms and enjoyment by the many residents and visitors to the area.

For many years his local community volunteer activities have been numerous. He was active in the Tryon Downtown Development Association, TDDA, where he served three terms as President of the organization. He lead this group of volunteers in their fund raising efforts for the beautification and improvement of downtown Tryon. He also served as a volunteer on the Tryon Tourism Develoment Authority, which is active in tourist interests for the area, and was elected, to the Board of Directors of E-Polk an internet non-profit organization. Presently he serves as president  of the Board of Realtors and the Tryon/Polk Multible Listing Service. He and Pat are members of Jacksons Grove Methodist Church where they participate in services in this historic building located under the oaks in Jackson Grove.

Andrew “Andy” Foster  joined the Walker Wallace & Emerson Real Estate Firm at the Landrum office in 2006 as a Broker.  He brings years of experience and expertise from both real estate investment areas as both an investor owner in projects  around Atlanta, GA and the business world. He was an owner of a large advertising business located in Atlanta, Georgia, and an Executive Director of a large non-profit Association with over 12,000 members World Wide.  Immediately before joining WWE Realty, he was a professional Marketing Consultant for manufacturers and business clients on a national level.

Andy, enjoys his volunteer efforts in the community at large, and his career as a Licensed Real Estate professional in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
